Activities in Trapani

If you're arriving early or staying later, here a few suggested things to do in the area:

  • TAKE A CABLE CAR TO ERICE - Ride the funivia (cable car) up to the medieval hilltop town of Erice. There you'll find stunning views of Trapani, the salt pans, and the coastline. Enjoy the cobblestone streets, castles, and almond pastries!
  • SALINE DI TRAPANI E PACECO (Salt Pans & Windmills) - Explore the picturesque salt flats just outside of town. You can visit the salt museum, spot flamingos, and enjoy a beautiful sunset reflecting off the water.
  • BOAT TOUR TO THE EGADI ISLANDS - Take a ferry or private boat to Favignana or Levanzo. Here you'll find crystal-clear waters, hidden coves, and the perfect spot for a beach picnic.
